Hanoi is the ancient capital and one of the most beautiful cities in Vietnam, located on the sacred land. At different periods, it bore other names, until in 1010 the founder of the Li dynasty made Hanoi his capital, which was decorated with many beautiful pagodas and palaces (today there are about 600 of them). The most famous places are the pagodas of Van Pillar and Van Mieu.

In the middle of the lake stands the Turtle Temple - the jade pagoda Gok-Son, erected in gratitude to the turtle.

Halong Bay

Halong Bay is the most beautiful place in Vietnam, according to most locals and visitors. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that about 3,000 islands, islets and rocks of the most bizarre forms rise in the bay to a height of 100-200 m. Each of them has its own name describing its features.

These beautiful places are of interest not only for lovers of a beach holiday or a delightful underwater world, but also for connoisseurs of antiquities - traces of ancient cultures were discovered on many islands during archaeological excavations. The islands themselves permeate through whole systems of caves and canals.

Since 1994, the most beautiful part of Halong Bay with 1,600 islands has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, so free access to it is closed, only visits accompanied by a local guide are allowed. Only one island - Kat-Ba - is partially mastered by the Vietnam, several thousand people live in its city. It also has another beautiful place in Vietnam - Kat Ba National Park, which preserves mangroves, in which many exotic plants grow, including endemics, rare animals live.

Shondong Cave

In Central Vietnam, in the province of Quangbin, on the territory of the Phong Nya Ke Bang National Park, there is the largest cave in the world - Shondong or Cave of a mountain river. British speleologists discovered and officially recorded its existence in 2009.

A relatively short study of its 6,500 m. Length showed that in some places its width reaches 100 m and its height is 240 m. A river flows in the depths of the cave and a real forest grows, which receives sunlight through natural holes in the arches, surrounded by jungles on the surface. .

Phan Thiet

The resort town of Phan Thiet is the most beautiful and popular place   rest in Vietnam due to the abundance of unique multi-colored dunes of pink, white and red around it.

In addition to the charming houses of local residents, comfortable hotels and magnificent beaches, Phan Thiet boasts others interesting places   - Mount Taku with a giant Buddha statue located on it, surrounded by vines, the Vietnamese Red Canyon near the colored dunes, and the main historical attraction of the resort is the Cham Towers.

Dalat

Da Lat is a popular mountain resort in Vietnam. This beautiful place is often called Vietnam Switzerland for its pleasant climate, surrounding landscapes and location above sea level - about 2000 m. The resort in the modern sense of the tiny village of Dalat was opened by the French scientist Alexander Ersen in 1893. At one time it became the site of the construction of residences and villas of large officials of Indochina.

The natural landscapes of Dalat are simply magnificent - alpine meadows, oriental-style flower gardens, numerous waterfalls (there are about 10 large ones around the city - Dambri, Datanla, Kamli, etc.), the city has many lakes and the most popular and beautiful of them is Ho Juan -Huong (translated - Fragrant spring) in the shape of a crescent. Near this lake there are beautiful Flower Gardens, meeting visitors with orchids, camellias, roses, lilies and another 300 species of flowering plants.

Phu Quoc Archipelago

The Phu Quoc archipelago of 16 islands is one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam. It is famous for its rich wildlife, rocky mountains covered with rainforests, waterfalls, mountain streams and stunning beaches with white sand.

Most big Island   archipelago - of the same name Fu-Quoc - locals   they called the Island 99 Mountains, since it is covered by many low mountains and hills covered with relict forest. On its territory is located the State Wildlife Refuge, founded in 1986. It grows more than 930 species of trees, inhabited by many small animals.

The island is often called the Pearl Island because of the two large plantations for growing pearls in coastal waters located here.

Vietnam is one of the “rice civilizations” with ancient Buddhist temples lost in the jungle, underground partisan tunnels and a rich colonial heritage, well preserved from French times. Vietnam is Thailand 20 years ago, not yet trampled by millions of tourists. “Fun, bright, inexpensive,” - so in three words you can describe the local spa life. Incendiary discos until the morning, forbidden pleasures, excellent shopping, unthinkable exotic dishes ... Or a relaxing holiday with children, romantic sunsets, mountain hikes and the best photos for memory. You choose what you like.

How to get there

It takes about 9 hours to fly from Moscow to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh by regular flights of Aeroflot or Vietnam Airlines. And this is the only moment that can confuse beach lovers in winter. Our fellow citizens do not need a visa to Vietnam. And if you want to see more in one trip - it’s logical to combine holidays in Vietnam with visits to neighboring countries - China, Laos, Cambodia, Burma or Thailand. Where better to relax - more on that later.

Which resort to choose?

If you fly now or in the coming months, then rest without rains is most likely in the south and in the center of the country. it popular resorts: Fukuok island, Vung Tau, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Danang. Focus on the flight to Ho Chi Minh City or Nha Trang, depending on the chosen resort. January and February are “velvet” months, it is comfortable to rest, air and water + 25 ... + 28 ° С. In March and April it is hot and dry, the temperature is + 30 ... + 35 ° С. In the summer months, it is better to choose the resorts of North Vietnam with a flight to Hanoi. And now briefly describe the most popular and rated resorts in the country, where you should go first.

Nha trang

Nha Trang and its antipode Phan Thiet top the preference rating russian tourists. Nha Trang Bay takes an honorable 29th place in the world ranking of the most beautiful resort bays. Nha Trang (Russians from the Far East say “nishtyang”) is growing and developing rapidly, new hotels of international hotel chains appear annually. Many restaurants, shops, colorful markets, a beautiful resort promenade. You won’t be bored. After or instead of the beach, you can sail on boats to neighboring islands - look at the monkeys or hang out all day in an amusement park. Temple complexes, Buddha statues, pagodas are the cultural component of the resort. And you can improve your health in local mud baths and thermal baths. There are a lot of European youth in Nha Trang, decent clubs with fashionable DJs, a good selection of inexpensive alcohol. A few minuses: most hotels on the second line; locals come to the city beach, which is used by most tourists, in the evening, they like to relax with children after work here. And in the summer months there are many jellyfish near the shore.

Phan Thiet

The exact opposite of Nha Trang. Relaxed, affordable, affordable. Most hotels - two- or three-story cottages on the shore, comfortably hid in palm groves. Here everyone smiles at each other, there is no crowding on the beaches, only the sea, the sun and a light fresh breeze. If slippers (they are also “flip flops”), shorts and a white panama are your style of relaxation, but you want to forget about the dress code at least for a while - you are definitely here. Tourists come with children because they’re inexpensive sandy beaches   and the entrance to the water is shallow. Couples find romantic sunsets in Phan Thiet and time to be alone. Here expanse is for lovers of large portions of seafood for ice beer, and local masseuses will make their little hands see "the sky in diamonds." There are no particularly interesting attractions in Phan Thiet or the surrounding area. Burnt by the sun, tourists prefer idle lying on the sand to dilute water species sports. And the minus is perhaps the only one. From the nearest airport in Ho Chi Minh, it takes 5-6 hours to get to the resort by bus or taxi.

Muyne

Neighbor Fantieta, this resort is loved by lovers active rest. Thanks to the constant wind, it is the ideal wave for surfers and kiters and dozens of specialized schools with professional instructors. Prices are bearable: an hour of windsurfing costs about $ 50, kitesurfing - $ 70. Many speak Russian, there are several establishments where you will be treated to borsch and dumplings. True, the resort prices are higher than in Fantiet, again due to the large number of our tourists. On the main street of Mui Ne, you will find SPA and massage parlors, cafes and souvenir shops.

Phu Quoc

A resort island in the very south of the country, in the Gulf of Thailand, just 15 km from the shores of Cambodia. Given the size of the island (Vietnam's largest island the size of Singapore), there is where to turn around. Active tourists choose jungle trekking, kayaking and canoeing, walks in numerous gardens and parks, and excursions to pearl factories. And diving in coastal waters is considered the most interesting and inexpensive in the country. But the main natural wealth of the island is its magnificent sandy beaches, stretching for many kilometers. There are still very few tourists on the island, although the infrastructure is booming. Hotels, casinos, golf courses, shopping and entertainment complexes are under construction, appeared new airport. But today it is still a calm, clean and yet inexpensive resort. The best place for a quiet family or romantic vacation in Vietnam is not to be found.

Vung tau

A popular family resort 130 km from Ho Chi Minh City. It is almost as large and known as Nha Trang, but only stormy night life   not here. But in the evening you can pass the time in bars with live music, which is very rare for Vietnam. The beaches are wide sandy, in the former villas of the French aristocracy, restaurants and guest houses are now open. The choice of hotels is also decent, for every taste and budget. Buddhist temples, pagodas, parks, the former royal residence, caves and underground tunnels   - there is where to walk and what to see. There are two drawbacks: petty theft on the beaches and the presence of oil drilling platforms in the water area.

Condo

“Let's catch up and overtake Thai Phuket!” - something like this can be voiced by the ambitions of the Vietnamese tourist authorities on the islands of this archipelago in the South China Sea. The first description of the islands belongs to Marco Polo, and Conshon (the old name of Kondao) received his infamous reputation thanks to the worst prison for political prisoners in Vietnam. Today it is a young resort with beautiful beaches and the best Six Senses hotel complex. Most of the island is occupied by the National Park, many interesting dive sites and places for fishing.

Dalat

A popular international mountain resort in the south of the country, 300 km from Ho Chi Minh City. These places with their mild climate and natural beauties resemble the French Alps. And it was built during the French colonization of Indochina as a mountain refuge from the sweltering heat. It is cooler than on the coast, and the daytime temperature even in the hottest summer months does not exceed 25 ° C, and at night it drops to a comfortable 15 ° C. From November to April is a dry season, it is better to come at this time. Dalat can be compared with Balinese Ubud. Here are the best spas and massage parlors in the country, as well as several treatment and wellness options using traditional oriental techniques. These are acupuncture, Vietnamese herbal massage, Indian massage, Tibetan practices of face and body massage with warm basalt stones. And in Dalat, the best theme restaurants of Vietnamese and French cuisine. As souvenirs, tourists buy the famous Luwak coffee (palm marten has once regaled its grains), artichoke tea, ceramic dishes inlaid with mother-of-pearl, and premium quality silk products. It is logical to combine Da Lat with a vacation on the beaches of Nha Trang and several nights in Ho Chi Minh City.

Danang and Hoi An

The most popular beach resorts in Central Vietnam. Best season   for beach holidays - March and April. In Da Nang there is a modern international Airport, the city is the fourth largest and industrial center of Vietnam. Nevertheless, it is very picturesque, there are several good beaches nearby, including the famous China Beach - the place of youth parties and surfing stations. And 40 km is the cozy town of Hoi An with a huge number of temples, pagodas, art salons, silk and souvenir shops. This is a museum city, it only officially registered 844 historical monument. Here it is worth trying dishes of real Vietnamese cuisine and cheaply replenishing your summer wardrobe with handmade silk things that are sewn literally with you. The ancient imperial capital of the country - the city of Hue - a place of pilgrimage for tourists, history and adventure lovers a la Indiana Jones, is a few hours away by car from Da Nang.

Halong and Haiphong

Halong Bay is a very beautiful and unusual place in the north of Vietnam. You can get from Hanoi by bus or taxi in 3-4 hours (150 km). If you watched the movie by James Cameron "Avatar", then the rocks of Halong will remind you of the floating blocks of the planet Pandora. Only in Halong do they fancifully stick out of the turquoise waters of the bay. Spending a few days in Halong is best on board a wooden cruise ship. So you buy yourself plenty in warm and clear water, visit the most beautiful and interesting places, buy authentic souvenirs in a floating village, go down to mysterious caves on the shore and take the best selfies in your life. And do not forget to try the local delicacy - sweet and sour fish baked in sugar. Halong is also famous for filming Indochina with Catherine Deneuve in leading role   and “Tomorrow Never Dies” with Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. Haiphong is a cozy resort town near Halong. It resembles Hanoi twenty years ago with its clean flowering boulevards, colonial houses and a leisurely rhythm of life. In addition to good shopping, the city has many temples, inexpensive restaurants, and there is a decent zoo. Due to the proximity to Hanoi, Halong and Haiphong are convenient to visit in one trip, along with a stop for a few days in the capital.

Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City

The description of the resorts will be incomplete without mentioning the main megacities of Vietnam, which are usually visited by almost all tourists, because they are the air gates of the country. These cities are definitely worth the attention and at least a brief study visit.

Hanoi is the capital of the country. This city will not leave anyone indifferent: old French houses are buried in greenery, and ancient temples are around the corner. Stop the cycle rickshaw and ride along the city boulevards, and in the evening go to the Water Theater. Have dinner at the national restaurant, and in the morning go take a picture to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, look into the Temple of Literature and marvel at the grace of the Pagoda on one pillar and throw a coin into the Lake of the Returned Sword. And if there is time and energy left - go briefly to the mountains for the former french resort Sapa. In one day in Sapa you can feel all four seasons, enjoy the natural beauties, see the unique Tafin Underwater Palace and the Thak Bak Silver Falls. And the most daring and hardy will be able to climb highest peak   Indochina Mount Fansipan (3,143 m).

Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon, as locals and American tourists call it by habit, main city South Vietnam. Saigon is interesting during the day and does not sleep at night. The colonial buildings of the last century peacefully coexist with skyscrapers, shopping centers and office buildings. The former Presidential Palace will impress you, and interesting finds   local designers can be bought at Dong Hoi boutique street. Military history buffs will find it interesting to go down to Ku Chi's partisan tunnels, and families with children will appreciate river walk   in Mekong with lunch and a visit to the snake nursery. And in the evening it is so good to admire the bright lights and life boiling below, sipping a cocktail or cool beer in the hotel's rooftop bar. And with new strength to go in search of "adult" nightly adventures after an invigorating foot massage. By the number and density of bars, discos, entertainment "on the edge" Saigon is not inferior to Bangkok.

Holidays in Asia, especially in an exotic country such as Vietnam, should not be limited to beach vacation! There is something to see here, therefore, once in this country, be sure to take the opportunity to see for yourselfthe main attractions of Vietnam!

Of course, it’s unlikely that you can visit them all, of course, if you didn’t initially set yourself such a goal, but at least you can start with those that are closest to your vacation destination. It’s one thing to see local beauties   on magnets and postcards, and quite another - to contemplate with their own eyes!

Peninsula Son Tra

Listing Attractions of Vietnam It is definitely worth mentioning the Son Tra Peninsula. This place seemed to have come down from a booklet that travelers are offered to look through at a travel agency.

This is real paradise: here there are beaches that are washed by transparent water, which opens a view of the magical sea world, and mountains covered with forest - they offer stunning views. The beaches of Son Tra are considered the best in all of Vietnam, and Buddha Beach is the most popular.

Once on the peninsula, you can get acquainted with local fishermen, observe their traditions dating back to antiquity, taste delicious seafood, visit the authentic Linh Ung Museum and Pagoda and enjoy the atmosphere of a place of great significance for all Buddhists of the world, take a look at a giant banyan tree, admire the snow-white statues of Da Nang and climb the Monkey Mountain.

And, of course, do not miss the opportunity to enjoy amazing beach vacations and swimming in the azure sea!

Tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty

Even if you are lookingvietnam sights on their own , without the help of professional guides, you will not be able to get past the tombs of the Nguyen dynasty: almost all guidebooks recommend visiting here!

Tombs are located on the banks of the famous river of Spirits. In order to take a look at this gloomy and mysterious place, tourists come here from all over the world. Seven tombs belonging to the last Vietnamese imperial dynasty are unique architectural structures: each of them is built according to a separate project and forms a perfectly symmetrical structure. All tombs are adjoined by a garden and transition bridges. Some of them have been preserved excellently, some are currently being restored.

The complex is striking in its scale and many details - bas-reliefs, statues, stairs, arches, pavilions, and you can spend all day here.

Phu Quoc Island

This place is worth visiting for anyone who is not indifferent to relaxing on the beach and corners where wildlife is preserved. Lovers of sunbathing and swimming will find white sand and a clean sea here, and lovers of active pastime will be impressed by the impassable jungle, mountains, waterfalls and rare animals that live here.

A visit to the island of Phu Quoc is an ideal opportunity to get acquainted with the incredible Vietnamese nature and love it!

Mekong Delta

Searching the sights of Vietnam on the map , which is offered to tourists in many hotels, you will certainly see the Mekong Delta on it - a place that also should not be ignored by those who would like to touch nature and study the life of the local population.

The best place for this is simply not to be found: the generous land in this area gives life to a huge number of plants, due to which there is a beautiful nature reserve. And here you can observe the life of the inhabitants of small fishing villages, see how rice grows in the fields and take a short trip along the river by boat.

Tram Pass Tone

The legendary Gate to Heaven, as Tram Tong is also called, meets travelers in a small mountain settlement called Sapa. This town is famous for its picturesque views, which adorn many magnets and postcards: here you can see classic mountain landscapes, valleys, buried in verdure and bamboo thickets.

Surprisingly, tourists have not yet managed to fill this place, so those who like to enjoy an impressive spectacle in solitude will like it here. By the way, Tram Ton is the highest pass in Vietnam, but it is famous not only for this reason.

The pass lies on the road that connects Sapa and Lai Chau, and there is one curious feature: on the side of Sapa it is very cool and foggy, but as soon as the tourist is on the opposite side, the weather immediately becomes clear.

An amazing contrast, but the climate in Sapa is generally considered the harshest in the country, while Lai Chau is known for the mildest and most comfortable climate in Vietnam.

This place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is protected by this organization. Nature has created an amazing system of three hundred caves and grottoes, stretching for several tens of kilometers.

Here is located Son Dung - the largest of all the caves known in the world. The attraction attracts not only cavers, but also ordinary tourists. Amazing stone walls, stalactites and stalagmites, including the unique 13-meter stalactite in Son Dung - all this makes a great impression, which is enhanced by the area where the reserve is located.

It is surrounded by mountains and centuries-old trees, so even if you are scared to go inside the caves, there is still something to see!

Halong Bay

The mysterious and attractive Halong Bay is a place where all adventure lovers should definitely come. This is one of the most atmospheric attractions in Vietnam. The name can literally be translated as "where the dragon descended into the sea."

There is a local legend, according to which, the island in the South China Sea, where the bay is located, owes its appearance to the huge winged lizard living in the mountains. When he decided to leave his lair and plunged into the sea, the potholes done by his tail were filled with water and left only small islands of land.

When fog descends on the water in the bay, which due to natural features happens quite often, and a slight haze envelops the rocks, it's time to board a wooden canoe boat and go to meet the secrets kept by the local caves. You are guaranteed an unforgettable sight and incredible sensations!

This amazing attraction is located in the heart of the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi, so the flow of tourists in this place does not dry out: photos with a Buddhist shrine are an integral part of a trip to Hanoi. The Pagoda of the Pillar appeared in the middle of the XI century. Its name is very telling: the structure is literally held on one pillar!

The design of the pagoda was conceived so that the tower looked like a lotus flower, blossoming from a reservoir. Unfortunately, this building was not preserved, but the restorers worked hard to recreate a copy of it. By the way, the tower can be seen not only in photos or magnets, but also on a coin of 5 thousand Vietnamese dollars.

Gene Da Dia

Maybe this attraction is not known to all travelers who plan to visit Vietnam, but definitely worth a visit here. This is a grotto that looks so incredibly picturesque that one cannot even believe that it was created by nature, and not by some talented artist.

Gene Da Dia has arisen among basaltic rocks, which were obtained after the eruption of a volcano that occurred in prehistoric times. The cold water of the ocean and the hot lava gave rise to this amazing natural structure, visiting which you cannot restrain your admiration.

Imperial City of Hue

Hue is a city that once was the capital of the Nguy dynasty, and now attracts a large number of tourists. There are many temples reminiscent of past times, you can see many gardens and sculptures, which still amaze with their splendor.

The city is beautiful, and its architecture is truly amazing! She perfectly demonstrates the achievements of the Vietnamese masters who created all this splendor with their own hands!

Tunnels Ku Chi

During the Vietnam War, the southern part of the country became the center of an underground struggle with the Americans. And a lot of help in this fight was provided by the labyrinths-tunnels, stretched underground. One could get through these catacombs from Saigon itself to the border with neighboring Cambodia.

The rebels skillfully took advantage of this, because here they were guided as at home, and the enemy could not take advantage of secret paths. Therefore, if you are interested in the mysterious labyrinths, you should definitely visit here!

What country do not take it, so in it there are surely a hundred or two attractions that are definitely worth visiting for every guest of the country. Unfortunately, in most cases 80% of them are artificially “inflated” by tour operators or the same tourist sites.

And if the former do it in order to earn money, then the latter - out of ignorance. Vietnam in this case is no exception. To look at least at how on the website the same Chama towers in Nha Trang are painted. Like, almost for the sake of them alone it is worth coming to Vietnam. In fact, we have a rather mediocre attraction, which the Chinese tourists can’t see too much. In general, we decided to make TOP sights of Vietnam that are really worth a visit. Immediately make a reservation that in this article there will be far from all interesting places. This country is very multifaceted and unusual, so the list of what to see in Vietnam can be extended to a whole book.

Halong Bay

Probably anyone who was interested in anything but the supermarket closest to his house heard about this place. This is truly one of the most beautiful corners of the planet. No wonder Halong Bay was on the UNESCO list. There is a bay in the north of the country in the Gulf of Thin of the South China Sea and includes more than 3 thousand rocks, islands and cliffs with a mass of grottoes, caves and other very beautiful natural objects. In 2011, the bay was even included in the list of 7 new natural wonders. Of course, from the shore of all the beauty you will not consider, so you need to go on a cruise along the bay and be sure to visit the caves.

All the splendor and grandeur of Halong Bay is impossible to convey with just one photo.

We also recommend renting a kayak and making independent tour over the grottoes and lagoons, of which there are more than enough in the bay. Caves deserve special attention. There are not many available for visiting here, but even this is enough to get a sea of \u200b\u200bvivid impressions. In general, we recommend coming to Halong Bay for a couple of days. At least in order to meet the dawn and sunset in this magical place. Believe me, it's worth it. You can get to the bay yourself from Hanoi, although it is much easier to buy a tour here and comfortably drive from the capital to one of the main attractions of Vietnam.

It is better to visit Halong in dry sunny weather. Although in the rain you can also have a great time here. Here are just photos for instagram will turn out not so spectacular.

Fongnia Kebang National Park

This is another natural attraction of Vietnam, which in its magnificence and scale is not inferior to Halong Bay. They just talk about it outside the country much less. The fact is that this park was opened for visits only in 2011, so it has not yet managed to become a tourist destination in the usual sense. In addition, there is one place in this park where only “selected” travelers fall. Actually, we want to talk about him. Yes, the park itself is magnificent, there are a lot of picturesque caves, just breathtaking nature and amazing atmosphere. However, the main attraction of this place is Shondong Cave.

Fongnia Kebang Park is an endless ocean of greenery and rocks

Shondong is currently the largest cave in the world, although it was discovered recently. Locals learned about this unique natural phenomenon only in 1991, and in 2009 Shondong became the property of the world public after the British caving mission. You can write about this unique cave for an infinitely long time, but you need to see it: 200-meter vaults, an underground river, 150 halls, giant stalactites and stalagmites, natural drawings on the rocks, underground clouds, unique flora and much more. By the way, due to the secluded location and architectural features of this cave, over 5 million years (approximate age of Shondong), its own special ecosystem and its own microclimate formed here.

The problem of visiting this place is that it is located quite far from civilization and there is no easy road. A trip to the Shondong cave takes 4 days, and it costs about $ 3,000. But! You need to understand that you will find yourself in a unique place where thousands of lucky people from all over the world have visited you. Most of them are scientists. In general, if you are confident in your physical fitness and ready for one of the most vivid journeys in life, Shondong is definitely for you.

Tunnels Heaps

Another place that will be interesting to see in Vietnam is the Kuchi tunnels. These are the very tunnels that terrified American soldiers during the Vietnam War. Hand-dug 187 km of tunnels stretched from the outskirts of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) to the Cambodian border itself. Turns rummaged at several levels and represented a real complex of military bases with its infrastructure: field hospitals, arms factories, barracks, warehouses, etc. In addition, the tunnels are full of traps for uninvited guests. At one time, the Vietnamese partisans launched everything from wolf pits to poisonous snakes. So units of the American military descending into Kuchi went outside.

Some parts of the complex are quite spacious

But there are places where people with claustrophobia will be extremely uncomfortable

Today, Kuchi is a kind of museum of war. Here you can walk through the very tunnels that saved Vietnamese rebels half a century ago. Look at their way of life, the structure of moves and much more. In addition, a shooting range is available for tourists, where you can shoot from military weapons from the Vietnam War, including the legendary M60. True, it is worth noting that the weapon is now not in good shape, but still shoots, albeit not very precisely. As you can see, Vietnam offers a variety of attractions. Including such non-standard ones. But we go further.

Hoi An

In fact, this is not a tourist attraction as such. This is a city which in itself is a special place. Of course, on the territory of Hoi An there are more than 800 officially recognized architectural monuments, and the city itself is included in the UNESCO list. It is located near Da Nang, but in fact - Da Nang smoothly passes into Hoi An. The difference between the cities is enormous. If in Da Nang there are high-rise five-star hotels, expensive cars and other features of a beach resort, then Hoi An is old city   with its own special atmosphere and beautiful architecture. Like hundreds of years ago, the windows of shops are locked with wooden shutters, from most of the houses it is old and it is really nice to be here. This small town is unlike most Vietnamese settlements. He is different and falls in love with this.

Dalat

Another landmark city located in the mountains 135 km from Nha Trang at an altitude of 1475 meters. This city is often called the French Alps. First of all, because it was built by the French in their own style. Here the colonists took refuge from the Vietnamese heat. And the climate in Dalat is really much more comfortable than in Nha Trang. Especially in the summer. The city has a couple of attractions, in the vicinity you will find simply amazing nature. In general, it is recommended to come to Dalat for 2-3 days. A day is not enough, but on days 5-6 it simply becomes boring here. However, this place is definitely worth it and if you are in Vietnam, you should not lose sight of places like Dalat.

Fairy Stream

Frankly, this attraction of Vietnam can not be compared with the previous ones. However, it is located near Mui Ne, where it often brings our tourists. There is nothing to do in the village itself, so Fairy Creek is almost the only worthwhile attraction in these parts. It is located near the resort area on the road to Mui Ne. It is a shallow (even very) brook flowing along bamboo thickets and beautiful rocks. The place is really beautiful, with its own special atmosphere. So if you find yourself in Mui Ne, be sure to take a ride here.

Cattien National Park

This park is the largest in Vietnam - 720 square meters. km A must-see place for anyone who loves wildlife. The park is home to many species of animals and plants, including rare species such as Javanese rhinos and Malay bears. In addition, many species of birds and insects live in the park. Just understand that this is not a tourist resort, but a habitat of wild animals. Therefore, you will not find any five-star hotels and fine restaurants here. So get ready for hiking conditions, but if you are a lover of the world wildlife, it's worth it.

And, of course, the incredible beauty of wildlife

Datian Waterfall

In general, there are many waterfalls in Vietnam. Still, in the country there are a lot of sites with mountainous terrain. However, Datian is a special waterfall. The first is largest waterfall   throughout Southeast Asia and 4th largest in the world. Secondly, it belongs to two countries at once: China and Vietnam. The fact is that there is Detian on the border of two states and at one time there were a lot of disputes around this territory. Nowadays, a natural attraction is mostly located in China, but Vietnam also has all the necessary infrastructure to enjoy this sight. In the vicinity of the waterfall you will find small hotels, souvenir shops and a whole fleet of bamboo rafts, for those who want to get closer to the waterfall by water. Datian is located 270 km from Hanoi. It is better to visit this place during the period November-April, when the most high level   water and waterfall opens to full.

This place of incredible beauty really exists and its name is Datian Waterfall
