Les Arcs consists of several mountain villages - Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Ark-1600, Ark-1800, Ark-1950 and Ark-2000, whose ski areas are located at altitudes from 1200 to 3226 m. In Ark-1800 there are many slopes for beginners , the descent of Ark-1600 is steeper, Ark-2000 offers to conquer the Olympic pistes of the Aiguille-Rouge peak (3226 m). Thanks to well-groomed slopes and smooth mountainous terrain, Les Arcs has more than once been chosen as the venue for international downhill competitions. La Plagne resort consists of 10 stations, six of which are connected by an extensive network of lifts, and four are slightly removed from them.
