Poland in the summer where to relax. Winter Poland - a great vacation for everyone

Information about holidays in Poland by the sea: food and accommodation prices in the Baltic resorts, reviews, the choice of a place where it is better to relax with children.

Resorts of Poland on the Baltic Sea

There are a lot of resorts in Poland, because the picturesque Baltic coast stretches for more than 500 kilometers. We list the most popular seaside resorts in Poland and say a few words about them - why they are remarkable and why they go there to relax.

Sopot

One of the most famous and main resorts of the Polish Baltic is Sopot, which is comfortable and prestigious, offering not only a beach holiday, but also a cultural program: opera, concerts, various shows and festivals of music and films, and you can practice almost any sport at the resort. In Sopot, there is a wide sandy beach and a wooden pier far reaching the sea (by the way, one of the longest in Europe), on which vacationers like to make a promenade. Also attracts tourists is the "Crooked House". The beach is equipped with everything necessary for the convenience of tourists: changing cabins, sunbeds and umbrellas, a variety of cafes, bars, clubs, shops and so on.

Jastrzębia Góra

Steep cliffs, dense forests and a sandy beach - this is the most beautiful seaside resort in Poland Jastrzębia Góra. The city is located on the territory of the Nadmorsky landscape park. A picturesque tourist route runs along the coast, and the Lisiy Yar Valley deserves attention. Holidays in Poland with children on the sea are best planned here, because the resort specializes in family and children's vacations: there are many pensions and hotels in the city, the resort is well-maintained.

Forehead

Ебeba is a completely unique resort in the Polish Baltic. It is known for such a curious phenomenon as moving dunes. Water approaches the resort from three sides: the Baltic Sea, Lake Lebsko and Lake Sarbsko. Near the city there is Slovinsky National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition to traditional rest on the sea, the resort offers ecotourism (scenic excursion routes pass through the national park), water sports and all kinds of entertainment, and in the coastal pine forests you can find the ruins of the Gothic church and the old Stilo lighthouse.

Leba’s air, saturated with iodine, is considered healing: people come here to strengthen immunity and treat diseases of the respiratory tract and musculoskeletal system. The resort is called the summer capital of Poland - sometimes the beaches are seriously crowded. However, the reviews of vacationers about this place are always good.

Ustka

Being an old port, Ustka pleases guests not only with good sandy beaches and the gentle sea, but also with beautiful architecture and historical monuments. Of all the Polish resorts on the Baltic Sea, annually, many vacationers choose Ustka due not only to its ancient charm, but also for the purpose of healing.

Sea tour in Poland is unthinkable without visiting the popular health resort Kolobrzeg. Due to the special microclimate, iodine-saturated air, mineral waters and healing mud, many vacationers flock to the resort who want to heal. Kolobrzeg is extremely popular as a seaside resort in Poland: there are wide sandy beaches, beautiful nature, well-developed infrastructure. The city itself and its environs are full of attractions: the Cathedral Basilica, the town hall, the lighthouse, and churches. Also, vacationers at sea and treatment in Kolobrzeg combine vacationers with a visit to the city of Koszalin, where the Gothic buildings were preserved, and the Danish island of Bornholm, on which the buildings of the Vikings and the fortified church are preserved.

Miedzyzdroje

Miedzyzdroje is no less picturesque than Leba: cliffs rise above the sandy beaches, and then the Volyn National Park stretches. The resort infrastructure is well developed. Miedzyzdroje is also popular as a health resort: it treats respiratory diseases and asthma. In this resort of the Polish Baltic there are various mineral waters (chloride, bromine and so on).

Swinoujscie

Иноwinoujцеcie is an excellent choice for a seaside vacation in Poland: it is notable for being located on 44 islands, of which only three are inhabited. One of the islands runs through the border with, so many Germans come to the Baltic resort of Poland. The resort is surrounded by beautiful forests and is year-round. Thanks to the healing mineral waters, mud and climatic conditions, it treats diseases of the heart, musculoskeletal system and respiratory tract, obesity and much more. However, people come here not only for the sake of the sea and sunbathing, but also for the sake of water sports, horse riding and other entertainments.

Krynica Morska

Krynica Morska - Poland's seaside resort, designed primarily for a relaxing family vacation with a child. As a resort, the city has been known since the 19th century. There are all conditions for relaxing in Poland on the sea with small children: clean sandy beaches are equipped with everything necessary, there is an open water park on the shore, and the entrance to the sea is gentle and safe. Children will be interested in visiting the mini zoo, ostrich farm, attractions and much more. There are many offers of outdoor activities, especially water sports.

The resort is surrounded by pines and oaks. At the same time, the city itself, according to the reviews of those who rested here, is very nice and pleasant, especially its historical center. But there are not many attractions in it: only an old church and a lighthouse.

You can get insurance for trips abroad online on the site - the service is convenient by searching for several large insurance companies at once and the ability to choose a policy according to the necessary parameters and the best price.

Holidays with children at sea in Poland

In principle, almost any resort is suitable for families with children on the sea in Poland. On the Baltic coast it is not too hot, therefore it will be comfortable for children and those who can not stand the heat. The microclimate of resorts and the healing air favorably affect children's health, strengthening immunity. Almost all resorts have a well-developed tourist infrastructure: there are water parks, zoos, a variety of beach and water activities, attractions and tourist routes - for a child on vacation in Poland there will certainly be something for everyone.

Especially for families with children on the sea in Poland, Sopot, Leba, Kolobrzeg, Jastrzęmbia Gora and Krynica Morska are suitable. Sopot has a calm and measured family vacation by the sea: wide beaches with soft sand and a very convenient gentle entrance to the sea, so swimming here is safe even with young children. For children there is a water park and attractions. Krynica-Morska, like Sopot, is very popular among families with children. There is a children's health camp in Kolobrzeg, and Leba will be interesting for lovers of natural attractions and outdoor activities.

Tip 7: How to get to Euro 2012 matches in Ukrainian cities

The European Football Championship attracts millions of fans around the world. The matches of the final part of Euro 2012 will be held in two countries at once. If fans need a Polish visa to travel to Poland, then with matches taking place in Ukraine, everything is much simpler.

Some tickets were handed over for distribution through fan organizations. A certain amount is being drawn into the lottery; information on it can be found on the UEFA website. Finally, if it was not possible to purchase the cherished ticket through official distributors, there remains one option - to buy a ticket at a secondary, that is, at a speculative price. It should be understood that it will be much higher than the nominal. For example, tickets worth 600 euros are already offered for 4-4.5 thousand euros, but you can find cheaper. For example, go to the Topikshop website or the Sport-ticket resource.

If you have a treasured ticket, the main difficulties are behind. You can enter Ukraine according to the usual Russian internal passport, a document of a military man, a sailor, etc. You do not need medical insurance either, because, by agreement between Russia and Ukraine, ambulance is provided to citizens of another country. You can find the details in the article “Trip from Russia to Ukraine”.

In the event that you plan to enter Ukraine by car, you will need a Ukrainian car owner liability insurance policy (OSGPO). As a rule, in front of the customs point are the offices of insurers, where you can purchase a policy. You should be aware that the absence of a policy is not a reason not to let you into Ukraine.

Before heading to the Euro 2012 matches, take care of the overnight stay in advance. It is best to book a hotel room online. True, prices for accommodation on the eve of the European championship soared, so finding a hotel or campsite with an acceptable payment will be very difficult. Renting an apartment will cost about 300-400 euros per day.

National parks

Bialowieza Forest is one of the most important treasures of nature in Europe. The main symbol of the forest park is the bison, a significant number of these animals were destroyed during the First World War. Workers of Belovezhskaya Pushcha made a lot of efforts to create a habitat in which bison are accustomed to live.

Slovinsky Park is a protected area, the main feature of which is the moving dunes. Sand dunes can reach several tens of meters in height, while creating a landscape of Saharan ergs.

Masuria

Masuria is a historical place in Poland, located in the northern part of the country, which the Poles are proud of. This area is also called the edge of the Masurian Lakes and the "edge of a thousand lakes." Surprisingly, on this territory there are more than four thousand lakes, which is a quarter of all available water resources in Poland. If you love windsurfing, kayaking, fishing and walking in the woods, then be sure to visit Masuria.

Malbork Castle

At the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries, a significant Gothic fortress and the largest brick castle in the world, Malbork Castle, were built in Europe. In 1309, the family of masters of the Teutonic Order moved from Venice to the castle. The picturesque historic site is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the end of the twentieth century.

Auschwitz Auschwitz concentration camp

During World War II, 6 million Jews were exterminated, a significant portion of whom died in this camp. Auschwitz concentration camp included Jews from many countries of the world, as well as gypsies and Poles. In 1947, the largest death camp was renamed the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, which preserves the memory of genocide and terrible human cruelty during the Second World War.

Cities of Poland

Wroclaw is the historical capital of Poland, located on two banks of the Odra River. Wroclaw is called the city of bridges, because there are more than 200 of them in the city. Throughout Wroclaw, you can see amazing architectural buildings, including castles, monasteries and churches.

Poznan is one of the oldest Polish cities, which keeps its history to the present. On the streets in Poznan you will see many historical monuments of architecture: Gothic churches, the town hall, the oldest Polish church.

Gdansk is called an architectural complex, because many of the buildings there are made in the style of the 13-18th centuries. Gdansk is currently one of the main economic centers in Poland.

Top 1 Solina. This is one of my favorite places - a small tourist village, with a population of about 200 people, famous for the lake of Solins. I have been here twice. The first time I was here a couple of days two years ago, in early June. The second time I came here for a couple of weeks in the middle of May of the year before last. Just at the end of May, a lot of people come here, among them schoolchildren who are brought to a pioneer camp and pensioners who come to boarding houses for health improvement.

This time we didn’t have to look for housing, since we agreed in advance with the hostess of the house where we lived a year ago. But I know that to search for housing in small tourist villages it is best to use the site -noclegi.pl .

Solina is a place for those who want to relax in the fresh air, enjoy the picturesque places, listen to the birds singing, take refuge from everyday household problems. From entertainment, a walk on a ship and a catamaran is perfect. Of the minuses, there is only one supermarket with inflated prices for the whole village, so it is best to go to neighboring villages to buy groceries. A lot of people are resting in this place, so there is a diverse selection of cafes and restaurants where you can have a tasty and good price lunch. My favorite place is the restaurant, on the way to the Dam, with the sign “obiady od 9 zl”, in which you can feed two people with one portion of the first or second.

Top 2 Polyanychik. This village is located a 10-minute drive from Solina. As a rule, we came here for groceries and plus the main goal was to take a walk and enjoy the picturesque places. In general, in principle, I admire Polish villages, as sometimes it seems that the villagers live better than urban ones.

In the villages everywhere there are beautiful cottages, villas and it is clear that they are looked after and repaired. Glade - a village bigger than Solina. It is beautiful in its own way, there is a rope park, you can take a walk to the pier, swim on a ship, see squirrels. Pensioners also come to health centers here.

Top 3 Zakopane   - a place in which I have been more than 10 times. What draws me here? This place has its own special atmosphere, which I have never met. It is famous for the mountains and it is recommended to go here in winter, although in summer you can also have a great rest here. There is one central street - Krupowka, which is a pleasure to walk along. It leads through the market to the funicular, the climb on which brings to the top of Mount Gubalowka. What is there in the market? There are woolen and fur things, honey, jam, but the most important highlight is oscypek. This is a Polish appetizer, smoked cheese, which is topped with cranberry jam. At first glance unusual, but it is very tasty. There is a water park with views of the beautiful views, the famous place “Sea Eye”, which I recommend visiting, the National Park, Mount Kasprowy up and the interesting “House upside down”.

Top 4 Bialka Tatranska. For lovers of relaxation in the village, this place is ideal. Here you can feel fresh air, a pleasant atmosphere, sheep and cows graze on the lawns. Houses in the form of well-kept cottages. Bialka is a small village in which there is only one central street. Tourists and city dwellers usually come here to Terme Bialka - thermal springs in the fresh air. It’s best to go to the springs in winter, but in the summer it is full of people. The purpose of the trip to Terme Bialka is to improve the body. For a long time, I would not recommend going to Bialka Tatranska, but coming here for a few days is ideal. There are several shops in this village, including the Bedronka supermarket, where you can buy food. Accommodation can be rented through booking.com. If you wish, you can go to a small neighboring village - Bukovina Tatranska, which is famous for another thermal springs - Therma Bukovina.

Top 5 Sanok. This small town attracted me with its small size. I went here to gain strength and relax from travel. When I was here, I realized that this place is ideal for those who want to recover, improve their health and relax. It's good here. I often sat on the banks of the San Creek, walked around the only and beautiful park named after Adam Mickiewicz, walked around the Royal Castle, admiring the views of the beautiful views that open from here. The Baltic coast of Poland is suitable for passive relaxation, as well as for those who can not stand the summer heat. It is not hot in the daytime, as the air temperature rarely rises above 25 degrees, and at night it is cold even in August. At night, the temperature can drop to 14 degrees, so you should not go here without warm clothes.

We traveled in a large company, but not with the goal of lying on the beach, but simply wanted to see the cities on the Baltic coast, so we stopped one day in Gdynia, Gdansk and Hel. All these cities are a short drive from each other, so getting on the train was very convenient.

The beaches in each city are sandy and very clean, even though many of them lack beach infrastructure. Not even elementary changing booths. The entrance to the water is gentle, and to swim, you have to go 50 meters from the shore. The shallow water area is very large and suitable only for children, adults are not very comfortable here, especially if you come ... read more

Poland is popular among tourists. It is relatively close and rich in attractions. If you want to visit Poland, but are limited in funds, do not despair! Traveling to this country may not be so costly if you save money.

The most popular tourist destination in Poland is a sightseeing trip to the fabulous Krakow. The first item of cost is the fare. To save money, you need to go there by train or by bus. It all depends on the starting point. A direct Polonaise train runs from Moscow to Warsaw. But tickets for it are relatively expensive - about 100 euros. It will be cheaper to travel by train to Brest, and then by bus go to Krakow. Another option to save money is to buy one-way tickets, as traveling in Poland in the same direction is cheaper. But in general, an independent trip will be more expensive than a similar group trip organized by a travel agency. Tour operators offer train travel to Brest, and from there ... read more

Of course, we will not talk about temperatures close to 30 degrees with a plus sign. For this . “Warm” will be considered in comparison with the usual temperature values \u200b\u200bfor summer. So, the water temperature, according to many years of research in the Baltic Sea, is in the summer from 9 ° C to 22 ° C. And if a value of 9 degrees is more suitable for winter swimming enthusiasts, then 18 and above are absolutely normal temperatures for swimming. Especially when on land up to 34 ° C in the shade, and so on the Baltic Sea happens every summer. The water temperature here is quite dependent on the currents. It is difficult to make a mistake with swimming, since the beaches in Poland are mainly under the supervision of lifeguards and are equipped with signs indicating the water temperature. If you can’t swim, this is reported with a special flag. Rescuers in boats approach the swimmers and report that they must leave the water before the ban is lifted. But there are places where the temperature is more or less stable. About them below.

Hel

Despite the fact that it is here that Poland begins (or ends — it seems to someone) and around one sea, it is not strange, but the water here has a fairly stable temperature. Here, due to the underwater landscape, there are no sharp changes in currents. Helby nature, it is an elevation and its surroundings, especially those that lie on the other side of the open sea, are the warmest from the point of view of water. Kuźnice (Forge) can be called a very good example in this regard.

Chałupy Welcome To! - sang in the eighties and nineties in Poland. Chalups - perhaps the most famous village in the country, but not so much thanks to the beaches themselves. Rather, thanks to the nudists who have chosen these places soon after the Second World War. So Chalupy became a household name thanks to the nudist beaches in Poland. It is worth noting that naturalists settled in Halupa for a reason. The beaches are clean, the water here is beautiful. You don’t need to be able to swim, you can go in the water for a long time and remain waist-deep in it. It is such an insignificant depth, and even in the sun, that makes local beaches look like Mediterranean resorts. Now you’re less likely to see nudists here, but there are more than enough kiters. Hotel reservations are best booked in advance.

Wladyslawowo and Puck (Władysławowo, Puck)

The beauty of these places is also the Gulf of Zatoka (Zatoka Pucka). It is shallow, and therefore warms up in the summer to those very 22 ° C absolutely calmly. Puck cannot be said to be a very popular tourist town. All because it has no access to the open sea. But we are wondering where it is warmer. It's warmer here. Vladislavovoit has a beach facing the open sea, but in the direction of the same Halup, only a kilometer from Vladislavovo the beaches of the Gulf of Puty begin. There are fewer people than on the beach in Vladislavovo itself, and a slightly different, more homely and calm atmosphere.

All of the above resorts have an important plus for tourists from Russia. In particular, from the Kaliningrad region, because they fall under the zone of a visa-free border regime. If we ignore the Khel spit, then there is where to swim in the warm Baltic water. Here, the topography of the bottom and the current play an important role.

Ustka (Ustka)

Thanks to the shallow water of the coastline, on which beautiful beaches are spread, Ustka is a great place to relax. It is for relaxation, because, unlike the very popular Kolobrzeg, it is quiet and calm here. And since we are also interested in water temperature, here it rises above 17 ° C more often than in Kolobrzeg. Although there, of course, good. But it should be noted that the inhabitants of Poland themselves praise Ustka, giving it preference when choosing a seaside resort. Especially in the last couple of years.

Kopań (Kopan - lake)

Not really the sea, but 100 meters from it. In the commune of Darłowo, there is the salted lake Kopan. It is separated from the sea by a small strip of land and is connected to the sea by a channel through which during a storm water from the sea flows into the lake. From this, the water in the lake is salted. In fact, Kopan is the dream of every child on the beach. Surely, sitting on the beach, everyone dug a "pool" or a pond connected to the sea by a canal. Water was collected in such a pool and sat in it like in a hot spring, because in comparison with the sea the water in it was really hot. The depths of Lake Kopan are very small - from 2 to 4.9 meters. Accordingly, it warms up well. This has its own charm, you can swim in the sea when it's hot, and when a little cooler - in the lake. Two pleasures in one. Therefore, the lake-sea turned out to be on our list of Polish marine vacation spots.

Łeba (Leba)

The essentially similar lake ебebsko, formed by the Leba river near the city of the same name, is an example of a combination unusual for these places. In addition to the fact that here, as in the case of Lake Kopan, the lake and the sea converge, there is also a desert. Throughout the space from the river to the sea, sand dunes can be observed. I also call them “walking dunes”, due to the fact that they really move under the influence of winds. As for the sea temperature in these places, it is rather usual here, but the views and the ability to go through the desert from the sea to a river similar in size to the sea will clearly not leave anyone indifferent.

The place is interesting both in terms of entertainment and in terms of history and culture. Here it is felt that the border with Germany is close. Highly. Sometimes it’s even so close that because of the number of Germans resting here it may seem that you are already outside this border. Moreover, at the moment there is no official border, in a certain sense of the word. If you want to have fun on the beach, go to a disco and let yourself frolic without brakes, then the beaches of Svinujtsya will suit you. The water here is slightly warmer than the average along the coast of Poland. But if you also want to grab two pleasures here - welcome to Międzyzdroje, which is only a few kilometers from the center of Свwinoujсьcie. There is peace, tranquility, clean beaches, clean - and most importantly warm - the water of the Baltic Sea. As in other cases on the Polish coast, the bottom profile plays the main role in the warmth of water in Miedzyzdroje. We can say that the beach here goes into the water for 25 meters. Water knee-deep and chest-maximum.

It is worth noting that on almost all the beaches and resorts in Poland you can relax with young children, since the depths near the coast, with rare exceptions, are very small. In addition, there are always lifeguards and dedicated “paddling pools” for kids on official beaches. They are arranged where smaller and warmer water. Rescue workers have special supervision over such a paddling pool. In general, children in Poland are surrounded by care and attention. This is the policy of the state and society. This also applies to beaches. Children playing on the beach absolutely unfamiliar with each other is a normal phenomenon. So go to the beach in Poland with a child, even on weekendwill even be very appropriate. Adults will also have something to do at the moment while their child frolics with new friends. Even if this occupation is just relaxation.
