Beaches near Moscow - where to relax on the water at the weekend? Beaches near Moscow Lake Senezh is it possible to swim.

According to various sources, in the comparative proximity from Moscow there are from 60 to 90 beaches - these are only official, “civilized” ones, where there is the necessary equipment, cleaning is carried out and safety is provided, while “wild” ones are more than two hundred.

The beaches of the Moscow Region are very different from each other in quality, safety, level of comfort, infrastructure. It would not hurt to thoroughly understand them in order to rest, especially when it comes to rest with children, it was good, in joy and without unpleasant consequences.

Unfortunately, the quality of the beaches near Moscow often leaves much to be desired.

The word Rospotrebnadzor:
So, according to the results of inspections carried out by Rospotrebnadzor together with the Ministry of Emergencies, more recently, swimming in the suburbs was possible in Krasnogorsk, Khimki, Zaraysk, Elektrostal, Chernogolovka, Kolomna and Lukhovitsy. Here are the areas that are also suitable for swimming: Istra, Dmitrovsky, Solnechnogorsk, Odintsovo, Schelkovsky, Mytishchi.

The residents of Volokolamsk, Voskresensky and Leninsky districts were unlucky - there are no officially authorized swimming places near them at all.

This fact does not stop bathers too much, therefore even on “forbidden” beaches it is always crowded. Well, you can understand people, it has always been like this: without swimming, summer is not summer, everyone understands this, even dogs.

By the way, special places for bathing dogs can now appear in the Moscow Region, however, all this is at the request of the municipalities, not in all areas, as we can see, the beaches are doing so well to ensure a comfortable and safe bathing even for children, to say nothing about four-legged friends. Everyone wants to swim at all times, but neglecting the “swimming is prohibited” sign is not worth it, especially if there are children nearby.

The greatest danger of wild beaches is the lack of knowledge of the bottom, as well as the pollution of the water, the beach and the same bottom - glass fragments, construction debris often causes injuries sustained during swimming.

So, the beaches of the Moscow region, where you can still swim relatively safely.

Moscow beaches

Sometimes there is no time or opportunity to leave the city, but this does not mean that you need to give up such a wonderful summer business as swimming.

Here are the beaches in Moscow, where in 2020 you can safely swim.
Officially, the line is allowed to swim in the following recreation areas:

Big City Pond

It is located in the city of Zelenograd, whose coastal territory belongs to the beaches of Moscow. The reservoir is located in the central city park, where all the celebrations and festivities take place.

The beach is sandy, quite large. Before the start of the swimming season, sand is always cleaned and refilled. There is not much shade on this beach - this is a minus for those who are not friends with the hot sun.

However, you can always bring your own umbrella. The water is very clean, the swimming area is fenced with buoys, there is a "paddling pool" for kids. There are as many as three volleyball courts, as well as playgrounds for children’s games, swings and benches. Nearby is a children's sports center and fitness room.

There is also the nearest cafe where you can not only have tea, but also have a good dinner.

School Lake
The beach is in Zelenograd. Good descent to the water, a great opportunity for children's swimming and games. There are volleyball courts with fencing and even stands, tables for tennis, a gymnastics town, and roller-skating.

Children's playgrounds are divided by age. Entrance and parking are free. On the territory there is a medical and rescue service.

"Black Lake"
This beach is also located in Zelenograd. On the outskirts of the city, almost in the forest. Previously, the Black Lake was large - it was fed by springs, but now its area has decreased significantly.

In some places the lake is overgrown with reeds. The water is very cold even in the heat, but locals love this small beach.

The sand on the shore of the beach is imported, but absolutely perfect - small, white, clean. The entrance to the water is very comfortable, gentle. For lovers of diving there is a special bridge. There is a football field and a playground. You can go fishing.

Troparevo
The beach is located on the territory of the Tyoply Stan reserve. This park was founded in the 60s, it should have been 15 squares - the number of union republics, but this project was not destined to be implemented. The park turned out to be abandoned and it, as well as the beach, was landscaped only in 2006.

The sandy part of the beach is small, but enough on the grass around the place. The bottom is mostly muddy. In some places special bridges have been built for launching into the water, since the banks are rather steep and slippery.

Not every Moscow park boasts a variety of entertainment offered to vacationers in this park: a rope town for children, sports and playgrounds, an amphitheater, rental of electric vehicles and sports equipment. There are also attractions, carousels, cafes and free Wi-Fi.

Meshcherskoye
This is almost a summer place. There are no multi-storey buildings, so it’s not too crowded. But on weekends directly on the sand of the beach it can be difficult to find a place, you can also not find a place in the parking lot, which is designed for 120 cars.
But you can comfortably sit on the grass along the banks of an artificially created reservoir.

Parking is more difficult: periodically incorrectly parked cars are evacuated here. The shore and bottom are sandy, but at a depth of more than a meter the bottom becomes muddy - be careful! There are changing cabins, playgrounds, shallow water for babies is equipped. The beach has rescue and medical services. Entrance to the beach and parking are free.

"Silver Bor-2"
This beach is located in the conservation zone, which means that it is monitored for cleanliness and order at the state level. This is one of the most popular places for swimming in Moscow.

Near the beach there is a large free parking. The water is not very warm, it does not warm well, the descent to the water is also not the most convenient - the banks are quite steep.

Changing rooms, shower and toilet are free. You can rent sun loungers and parasols. For kids there are animators, for adults there is a restaurant where you can organize a banquet or hold a celebration. Entrance to the beach and parking are free.

"Silver Bor-3"
This beach is one of the largest coastlines. Gentle sandy or slightly steeper grassy slopes lead to the water. The water is opaque, but warm.

The bottom is mostly sandy, but there are silty places. Amusement is enough: several cafes and restaurants, where, if you are located on "their" beach area, you can order a fruit salad or dessert directly to the deck chair, sports grounds for children and adults. The set of services is standard: rental of sunbeds and umbrellas, sports equipment, boats, catamarans.

notethat on three city beaches Rospotrebnadzor temporarily banned swimming, these are:
  Beach "Lake White"
  Beach complex "Beach Club"
  Beach "Left Bank"
According to microbiological standards, water on these beaches does not meet sanitary standards.

Beaches with pools:

Soho country club
  Maritime Club "Admiral"
  Pension "Dawn"
  Hotel Vozdvizhenskoe
  Hotel Olympus
Rest house "Component"

Highlights

Lake Senezh has a length of 5 km and a width of 3.5 km. The north coast is an artificial dam 1.5 km long. In the west and east, the lake has elevated shores, and from the south - low and boggy. Its bottom is muddy, and in the dam area is sandy. The average depth is 2.5-3 m and the maximum is 6 m. Senezhskaya water has long been famous for its purity and transparency.

Senezh is not a natural reservoir, but one of the oldest reservoirs near Moscow, which was formed in 1826 when they began to build a canal connecting the Istra and Sestra rivers. A new waterway became necessary in order to deliver stone faster and cheaper from the Volga to Moscow, from which the builders subsequently erected the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. A lot of people worked on the canal; it was built for almost a quarter of a century, having built three stone gateways, a dam and 8.5 km of the earth channel. However, the artificial canal could not stand the competition with the constructed railway and ended up being abandoned.

Interestingly, at the end of the 19th century, the first hydroelectric power station near Moscow appeared on the dam of Lake Senezh. It was built at the expense of Baron Knopp and had a capacity of 50 kW. In the middle of the last century, so that tanks could move past the reservoir to the training ground, the old hydraulic structures were concreted, and the dam was filled up.

The name of the reservoir comes from the name of a small lake of glacial origin, which today is a bay in its southern part and is called Old Senezh. Today, the city of Solnechnogorsk stands on the shore of the lake, as well as smaller settlements. The Sestra River flows from the reservoir, and from the south side several streams flow into it.

Fishing on Lake Senezh

Senezh is considered a paradise for lovers of fishing. At any time of the year you can meet fishermen who catch bream, roach, pike, carp, perch, tench, ruff, silver and goldfish, eel, gobies and pike perch. The most popular fishing methods are fishing rods, spinning rods, mugs, vents and bottom tackle (feeder). There are several fishing bases on the lake.

Since 1964, the Senezh fish farm has existed on the lake. Nowadays, this company offers everyone an excellent paid fishing. In addition to carp, roach, perch, pike, common carp and silver carp, here you can catch trout and grass carp. The weight of individual fish reaches 10 kg.

Rest on Senezhsky lake

On weekends, many people come to the expanses of Lake Senezh to do windsurfing and kitesurfing. In the middle of summer, beach lovers have a rest here. Boat stations and a cafe are open on the shore, as well as sports grounds for playing volleyball and basketball. Sandy beaches are paid, they are equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds.

Those who want to spend a few days on the lake can rent a cottage or settle in a hotel at the Senezh Recreation and Art Center. 10 km from the lake is the memorial estate of Alexander Blok "Shakhmatovo".

About how to find out where it’s safe to swim in the suburbs,

We leave - through the city, the turns from the Moscow Ring Road are closed - to the Leningradskoye Highway towards Solnechnogorsk, about 51 kilometers. And then - two options, depending only on the congestion of the track. You can drive Solnechnogorsk almost completely and then turn right onto Naberezhnaya Street, which smoothly passes into Timonovskoye Shosse. We drive about 2.5-3 kilometers to the dam - and there we are already choosing a place to rest. The “old” Senezh is on the left, the new one is on the right: the lake modern to us was artificially formed 200 years ago. The second variant of arrival (longer) - before reaching Solnechnogorsk, turn right behind Dubinino village and get to Senezh village through Redino village. There may be parking problems: cars are mostly left on the sidelines along the highway. The shores are mostly “green”, although today the grass is either burnt out and trampled. The water is not that crystal clear, but suitable for swimming.

You can relax civilly by paying 150 rubles for entering the beach of any of the nearby holiday homes. The price includes the rental of barbecue, although now grilling kebabs on the beach is not recommended.

From outdoor activities, diving and surfing were offered, but the latter disappears due to the lack of good wind - heat. You don’t need to stock up on products with yourself. There are shops in the villages, in addition, if you pass Solnechnogorsk, there are McDonald's and Rostiks.

Recreation area "Meshchersky", Vostryakovsky district of Moscow region

The convenience of this recreation area is its proximity to Moscow. Disadvantages - lack of civilized parking. You can get either on the outer side of the MKAD (soon after the junction with General Dorokhov (Ochakovo) there will be a ramp to the right, to Voskresenskaya street. We go along it several hundred meters to the second turn to the left - this is Meshchersky Avenue. Somewhere here it’s better to leave a car and a couple hundred meters walk to the water on foot.

The second option is to enter either from Ryabinovaya Street, or from the inside of the MKAD. We pass under the Ring - and as soon as country houses appear on the right, turn right - this is the same Meshchersky Avenue. Before the heat, only residents of the village and rare Muscovites rested here, but today, half of the Western District comes here. On the beach there is a volleyball court, a children's town, benches, locker rooms, a drinking fountain, free dry closets, showers and cafes. There is a rescue center, a medical center and a police station. There are boat rentals and free parking. Ballot boxes and garbage containers are quite enough. Sand is only off the coast, so you have to sunbathe on the grass. The bathing area is surrounded by buoys, and there is no children's beach.

Rublevsky beach, Myakininskaya floodplain of the Moscow River ()

Before its "entry" into the city limits, the Moscow River has several floodplains in its upper reaches. One of the closest - one and a half to two kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road - Myakininskaya. You can get here either on the Myakininsky highway (from the MKAD about 2 kilometers along the Novorizhskoye highway to the turn on Myakininsky highway), or by bus number 127 from the metro station Molodezhnaya to the final stop. Admission is paid, 100 rubles. They may ask for the same amount for parking the car. On the shore there are several cafes, there are changing cabins, showers. There is a rental of boats and catamarans, a volleyball and football pitch, a first-aid post and a lifeguard station. The bathing area is surrounded by buoys, for children equipped with its own "paddling pool".

You can choose a little farther Pavshinsky floodplain for swimming. This is either two more kilometers in New Riga, or several hundred meters after turning on Myakinino, you need to go to the right, to an inconspicuous two-row. On it to the water - about a kilometer.

Ozerninsky reservoir ()

If you leave here in the morning and on weekdays, you can get very quickly, even though from the MKAD to Ruza (this is a transshipment point on the way to two large reservoirs in the west of the Moscow Region) 108 kilometers. We leave on the Minsk highway - and everything is straightforward, right up to the turn to Dorokhovo (85 kilometers from MKAD. From it to Ruza - 22 kilometers. Here - attention! - a confused roundabout. The second exit to the right - to the Ozerninsky reservoir, the third - to The places around are beautiful, the water is still clean, although not cool anymore. The only negative is that you will not find a civilian rest here unless you ask for the beaches of the Parus boarding house.

There are settlements nearby, but it’s easier to take food and drink with you: the locals tear at exorbitant prices.

Ruzskoe reservoir ()

Istra Reservoir ()

One of the water intakes in Moscow, and therefore there is no need to complain about water quality. There are only three places on the Istra reservoir for recreation and swimming - at the village of Malye Berezhki, Friday or Trusovo. Near the village of Trusovo, the beach is well-maintained, there are locker rooms, sports grounds, bathing areas for children, cafes and barbecue facilities. A rescue tower and a boat station are equipped, you can rent sports equipment, catamarans, boats, deck chairs.

Pirogovskoe Reservoir ()

One of the five cascaded - Klyazminskoe, Pirogovskoe, Pyalovskoe, Uchinskoe, Pestovskoe. Officially, there is not much where you can swim, but there is no end to the desire to plunge, even despite the tragedy that occurred in mid-July - when the yacht crushed bathers for themselves.
The direct route is along the Ostashkovskoye Shosse (entrance from the Moscow Ring Road or Yenisei Street) to Pirogovo. In theory, after 15 kilometers, any left turn will lead to water. You can get to the opposite shore if, after Pirogovo, after driving another three kilometers, turn left.

But you can stop at Pirogovo itself - there are as many as three beaches. Flagman Beach (there are signs on the road) - the entrance costs 100 rubles, plus 200 rubles parking. There are locker rooms and showers, playgrounds, football and beach volleyball fields. Lounger rental - 250-300 rubles per day. Boat rental hour - 150 rubles. Products can only be bought at beach cafes.

The beach next to Flagship is Dubrava. Entrance is free, parking outside the beach (if you find a place, ha ha) is also free. Entrance to the beach - 100 rubles. The bottom is sandy and almost clean.

There is still a wild beach to the left of Pirogovo. Everything is free here, except for food in a cafe. The main disadvantages are the immeasurable amount of water modes of transport under the control of drunken captains.

Klyazma reservoir ()

The first - or the last? - in this cascade. You can either get by train to the Khlebnikovo platform from Savelovsky station, but in the heat it is a little pleasure. If you go by car - then along Dmitrovka to the junction in front of the Klyazma bridge (it is impossible to miss it - the cyclopean structure is visible from afar). After 4 kilometers there will be a sign to the Gorki beach. Admission is free (at least, it was not so long ago), they can ask for 100 rubles for parking. The bottom is clean (sometimes checked), but there are not many benefits of civilization - changing cabins and cafes. The inconvenience is the same - boats and yachts ...

Pyalovskoe reservoir ()

You will have to get to it for a long time. On Dmitrovka, without reaching a few hundred meters to Sholokhovo. There will be a turning and heading, turning right on it, you need to go right along the highway two-row. After driving a couple of kilometers, turn right - and here you can’t turn anywhere until the very water. True, you will have to look for a place for free rest - here around the cottage villages with "private beaches". If you want to relax in silence - refer to the "travel agencies", which are full on the Internet. But you have to pay for the pass, the price is negotiable. If you like to sail “to the opposite shore”, keep in mind that the Moscow Canal, a navigable river artery, passes through the Pyalovskoe Reservoir.

Pestovsky reservoir ()

Go to him approximately as to Pyalovsky. But, turning from Dmitrovsky, remember that, having passed Kryukovo, after a kilometer and a half, in front of Aksakovo, you need to turn left. And along a narrow road, along the Moscow Canal, another 4-5 km. This is the farthest and quietest reservoir. Another option is a left turn on the 23rd kilometer of the Yaroslavl highway, along the Small Ring to the Morozka platform - then along Dmitrovsky highway.

These are really remote places, a nature conservation zone. Pay attention to the signs “Swimming and fishing is prohibited” - here, the violators are really monitored. It is best to attach to a group of cars on the side of the road - most likely, a clearing with a clay bank will be nearby. Making bonfires is naturally prohibited. And try not to litter - you then drink this water.

traditionally located in the water area:

  • swim to the drowning man, grab him from behind by the waist or armpits and transport him to the shore;
  • if the victim is grabbing for you, push him away from you or dive under the water, and then try to capture him again;
  • pulling the victim to the beach, turn him on his side and clean his mouth of possible contaminants;
  • then put the man on his knee with his chest to free his lungs from water;

What to do with heat and sunstroke

On the beach in the suburbs there is always a risk of becoming a victim of sun (like vomiting, shortness of breath, rapid pulse, nosebleeds, fever, dilated pupils) or heat stroke (accompanied by severe headache, darkening of the eyes, dizziness and nausea).
