We rested together with a friend. The rest was a success, the weather was excellent, the heat was cooler in the evening, and at the end of the vacation it rained a couple of times. Even managed to dance, despite the end of the season, many clubs worked, the people were, but not everywhere, of course. We most often went to Teasers, Senior Frog bars from the clubs - Castle, and we went to Starsky’s.
So, in the hotel, a really new, well-equipped hotel with leather furniture, modern. But the territory is small, a view of the road and the stones, they have not yet managed to get vegetation there, but planted trees - tangerines, lemons. There is a hotel on the outskirts, but there are pluses: if you are coming from neighboring Protaras, for example, you are the fastest to come)) Located on a hill, when you go to the beach, go down it, and back you already have to go up - this is someone who lacks sports, I personally even lost weight from such exercises)) To the beach, walking slowly for 5-6 minutes, the beach is excellent, it is much better than Nissi Beach, which is dirty, a crowd of people and no particularly beautiful landscapes.
To the center, where bars, clubs, shops must be "cut" for about 15 minutes.
We had a studio room on the 1st floor, a decent gap under the door, small ants constantly crawled in, and besides, right at the door there was a built-in kitchen and a refrigerator, which clearly attracted them. At first they didn’t clean the room for a couple of days, then they cleaned, they didn’t change the towels, they didn’t bring the toilet paper, they went to the reception, they gave the towels, then they started to change when cleaning, but the paper basically didn’t bring)) There is a plus-mega-balcony, there you can even arrange a dance floor, and we had breakfast there and evening gatherings sometimes. The city is very calm and safe.
Food: the hotel does not feed, because this is an apart-hotel, in the restaurant they took national dishes-moussaka, stifado, kleftiko for 10 euros, ate together)) Soup soup is made for about 3-4 euros, in general you can live. I had 350 euros for 2 weeks, including all purchases)

We had a rest in this hotel with a friend in April 2014. At first, when we got off the bus, the impressions were not the most pleasant, because the hotel was in the outskirts of Ayia Napa. But the main plus here is the silence at night.
The hotel is small, consists of several buildings. The rooms are clean and tidy. We didn’t tidy up very often, but we didn’t “swine”. The garbage basically needs to be taken out by ourselves, next to the containers. Underwear for 9 days was changed 2-3 times. Towels are grayish. The kitchenette has everything you need. Safe for a fee. The adapter was given to us for free. We did not need an air conditioner, as in April it was still not very hot, we even used an extra blanket. From the balcony we could see the sea)) We didn’t take any meals at all, because the room has a kitchen and a refrigerator, bought something in the morning at the supermarket or ate in the cafe. The average bill for 2 girls is 30 euros (2 salads, and drinks). The portions are large, so they did not always eat up. Feel free to ask for the rest to be laid with you, everyone does it there.
Loved the manager, friendly, caring and very sociable. He does not speak Russian, but this was not a problem.
In ten minutes the beach, clean, sandy, beach equipment is paid (all for 2.50). The sea is clean, but still icy in April.
Nearby there are supermarkets, cafes, a bus stop with which you can go anywhere.

Nice apartments, located on the outskirts of Ayia Napa, although not so far from the center (20-25 minutes on foot, we were not at all busy to walk in the evening). It takes about an hour to get from the airport. To the beach 5-7 minutes downhill, returning, of course, a little harder, but again we are young - not a problem at all)) Where to eat is also not a problem, everywhere there are restaurants and next to the hotel and away, the average bill for two is 25 euros if you take each dish or for example one large dish for two (meze). In the center there is a fun amusement park - I advise a booster attraction)) If anyone is interested, then you can walk to the street of bars for about 25 minutes, plus there are many free transfers to this street)
Great clean beach, fine sand. As elsewhere in Cyprus, sunbeds and umbrellas are paid. We went to the vaunted Nissi Beach, maybe the views there are prettier, but unlike our beach, Nissi was dirtier and bloomed at that time, everything was in green algae.
The hotel itself and the service.
We rest for 9 days - we often cleaned, for 9 days we didn’t clean 2-3 times .. Breakfasts are the same, every day the same thing, namely: tea / coffee, two slices of white bread (from toaster), two slices of ham, cheese, an egg, half a cucumber and half a tomato and another 5 grams of jam, that was every day. Someone like that, of course, is not a lot, but we were full.
The hotel has a small pool, often there is no one near it, and there will certainly be sunbeds free. There is free Wi-fi at the reception and by the pool.
We had a studio, a large room, two beds, a sofa, a table, a large plasma (one of our channels - the first), a sanitary unit. Well, and separately about the kitchen corner: there is everything you need - a stove, pan, board, frying pan, spoons, forks, mugs, glasses, but dumb knives, it’s better to bring your own.
The only downsides: this is a paid air conditioning (5 euros per day) and terribly creaky beds, well, we got such at least ...
And as a whole, a cool hotel, it was the cheapest at that time in Ayia Napa. I recommend it!) Have a nice rest.

Hotel Soho 3 * is located in Ayia Napa, about 5 km from the center, consists of two-story buildings with 10 rooms each.
The location of course is far from the entertainment center, but there is no fuss and noise at night. The beach is a 15 minute walk. A small minus is that on the way back you need to climb the mountain. Also of the minuses is that the road passes nearby and if the windows do not overlook the sea, it will be noisy in the evening, but no one bothers to sleep at night.
The overall impression of the hotel is very positive. Solid European 3 stars.
The room has a large bed, LCD TV, folding sofa, table, chairs, a pair of nightstands and chests, a dressing table with a mirror. The toilet room has a shower stall. Shampoo and soap only upon arrival, so it is worth taking them with you.
Since the hotel does not have its own restaurant, meals are either in the nearby Marina hotel, or in the nearest cafes. I advise you not to take food in the hotel, but eat it in the cafe or in the room. For this, all conditions are created there. There is a small kitchen with a refrigerator, a toaster, an electric stove, a kettle and a full set of dishes and pans (points are set for this). By the way, an adapter for local electric networks is already there, it makes no sense to buy.
For lovers of baking, I can recommend the bakery "Zorpas". It is far from the hotel, but while walking around the city, go in, you will not regret it. Everything is fresh, tasty. You can also sit there to drink coffee and eat dessert. The bakery is located in the moon park area, on the street with McDonald's.
Room cleaned every day except Sunday (day off, probably). It is noticed that the floor is not washed every day, but as it gets dirty. In general, cleaned by four.
The room has a balcony, but which you can sit in the evening.
The hotel has a small pool with sun loungers and parasols. By the way, for those who do not know: in Cyprus all the beaches are municipal, the hotels simply do not have their own beaches. Sun beds and umbrellas are paid, in 2011 2.5 euros each.
The lobby has its own small bar and a computer with internet access. Internet in the hotel is expensive, I advise you to go to the city, there is an Internet cafe with access to a set of 1 euro per hour (located on a cobblestone street, in the post office). Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name.
For rental equipment there is a parking lot.
The hotel is recommended primarily for those who want to relax from the bustle, enjoy the peace and tranquility. But at the same time it does not have health problems, since going uphill from a beach or city takes a lot of energy. There is, of course, an alternative in the form of a bus or rental equipment.
As a departure from the hotel.
The sea is clean. Around the beautiful fish swim. Sandy gently sloping sunset. I advise you to bring a mask or buy in Cyprus, you will not regret it.
There is no reason to go to the famous Nishi scam, although the beach there is also good.
You can rent a bike, scooter, ATV, buggy and car. Everything except the bike requires a driver’s license. By the way, traffic in Cyprus is left-hand, so be careful. On rented equipment, you cannot travel outside the area (Famagusta). Special bicycles have been made for bicycles in the city and in the country, including between some cities, with the exception of motorways.
I advise you to go to the city of Protaras either on a rental or on a bus. A ticket costs 1 euro, runs every 15 minutes.
Protaras also has a gorgeous beach. The city is more suitable for families with children. Entertainment is much less.
In Ayia Napa itself in the center of the amusement park Luna (more suitable for children), boat trips, diving, of course, nightclubs.
In the cafe everyone advises to try national local dishes, but I think they are an amateur. Masaka - minced meat with rice and eggplant, topped with egg sauce. Dolmati - the same stuffing with rice, wrapped in grape leaves. Separate mention deserves Mesa. You have to be a very big lover of meat (or fish, depending on the type of Meze) to eat about twenty different dishes with almost no garnish. Please note that all dishes in Cyprus are almost not salty. It is better to order one, but full-fledged dishes with sauce and a side dish. It will be much tastier. But this is only my personal opinion. By the way, do not be shy to ask to take with you what you could not eat. This is there in the order of things (especially applies to Mesa).
go to the beach for about 10 minutes, from a hill, back with a stroller it was harder to climb. but from the second until the last day we had a rented car, and everything became easier) I recommend these apartments to those who are going to take a car - after all, they are not in the center + not the first line + without power - we drove on the second day to a car in a Liddle supermarket in neighboring Protaras- prices are much cheaper than in the tourist zone, they bought food and had breakfast and dinner at home — they just went around for lunch.
by the way, next to our apartments, we liked the beach most of all - we traveled around the neighboring ones - our cleaner, more comfortable. the sea ... oh, I miss it terribly .... ((the water is clean, the sea is tender and gentle, the water rate was about 24 ° C, the air was about 25 ° -27 ° C. it was hot in the afternoon, but in the evenings it was already cool

The staff does not speak Russian, but smiles and tries to understand you. Basically, all communication in English, so knowledge of the language does not hurt.
The hotel is located on a hill, so the road to the beach took 10 minutes there, and more back))). It is better to cut the road to the beach on the right hand from Soho, through the Bona Napa hotel.
Beach: sandy with amazingly warm and beautiful sea. Sun beds and umbrellas for a fee (2.5 euros per unit). Very good entrance to the sea, without stones.
Although the hotel is located at a distance from the city center, walking to shops, taverns and discos is not difficult - 30 minutes and you are in the center of events (you can take a bus).
The package includes HB food at the nearby Marina Hotel. Unfortunately, on the second day it became clear that this wasted money ((((There is no food in the hotel itself, they rated it five, because there is the possibility of self-cooking.
The average cost of a good lunch (dinner) for a family is 30-50 euros, depending on the fed appetite. A tasty meal is where there is.
We liked everything, even if there were some flaws, it was not upset, because we rested and enjoyed life.
On the last day of rest, several hotel rooms were robbed. Moreover, all windows and doors were closed. It seems that the hotel staff opened the room. The police only spread their hands and said that they themselves were to blame for not having handed over valuables to the safe. When they were just checking in, they said at the reception that they did not have a safe. And when the police arrived, they immediately found a safe and, it turns out, always was. Be careful !!!
